One of my favourite musicians was Jim Thirwell. (I write was as I started to lose interest after his Nail album). Not only great music but great artwork as well.

Shepard Fairey, AKA Obey Giant, is an artist. He likes music and has made CD covers, T-Shirts and posters for Henry Rollins and Smashing Pumpkins. His work uses very strong graphics, influenced by Russian and Chinese propaganda posters of the 1930’s – 40’s. I discovered his work as I like Banksy’s work. Fairey’s work has a darker sense to it compared to Banksy. Although some of his prints like for example his Peace Mujer (which I bought) is just absolutely beautiful.
